Stall Install

Shower stalls are commonly used either in small bathrooms or in conjunction with an oversized tub.    Showers can be easier to use than bathtubs for those who have a difficult time getting around, whether from age or disability; as a result, more and more homeowners are opting for large shower stalls over standard sized bathtubs. For this project we took out the old bathtub and replaced it with a custom tile shower stall.  We also tiled the floor.  Pictures are limited as the space was very tight, but you can get an idea of how to make your own bathroom more accessible.

The extra detailing on the lip of the shower adds a finished, classy look.

A flexible shower head is great both for kids and the elderly.

The one-handle control is easy to operate, even for arthritic fingers.
